Online Shopping Reviews: Stores With Bad Reviews to Avoid
Welcome to our online shopping reviews. I bet you’ve seen a lot of online store ads at this point. They are basically everywhere, especially on social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Advertisements with beautiful models donning cute, elegant, yet cheap and widely available outfits. If you think the ads are too good to be true, then they usually are. A lot of online stores are publishing their ads to get some quick cash but ignoring every fundamental of what makes a good online store.
The victims are piling up as well. Every day there is always one new victim who voices their complaint online. If you have been conned by a shady online store before, you must know what I’m talking about here. It is time to protect yourself from online scams better. Therefore, I present you with a list of online stores with bad reviews so you can avoid them. I also have a list of reputable online stores that I want to recommend.

When in doubt, always read the reviews
As you can see, there are a lot of shady online stores on the internet. The best way to identify these bad online stores is by reading online reviews from people who have been involved before. Watch out for fake online reviews, however, since these shady stores won’t shy away from paying for fake reviews.
Also, as you may have already noticed, stealing photos from reputable sites is a common practice among shady online stores. If you recognize some photos from another store, you should check which site is the thief. No reputable stores will resort to stealing pictures from another store. As they always put some effort and money into hiring photographers to take the photos.
Also, some stores will allow users to upload their own pictures. It is a good sign that people are actually using the store to sell their products. All in all, please be aware of this shady practice and avoid stores that employ it.

Talin Boutique is one of some scam stores. They use photos from the House of CB as advertisements. They never answer emails and the phone line is always busy.

Next up is Vencano & Rosewe. How is their reputation? I ordered a dress from Vencano and haven’t received it at all even though I paid for the item I bought. I wonder if Vencano changed their name? Because I found out another shop called Rosewe has the same “look” with their dresses!
Nicole
Vencano is the WORST store ever. I saw their ad and ordered clothes for over $100. After three weeks passed, nothing came to my house. I kept calling them but none of the numbers worked. When I send the email, it directs me to a completely different company, and replies by sending me a useless “ticket”. I notified my bank about this incident and reported them as fraud. Forget about Vencano & Rosewe! I have ordered from Shein and RomWe and both are great!

I’m so grateful that you have posted this list! I like shopping online because I like clothes that are different from those sold by Department Stores. At first, I thought Naracora was my answer because they sell clothes in the boho style which is my favorite. Turns out I was wrong! They sent me a fake of what their model was wearing and because they are in China the return fee was more expensive.
Also, offered a 25 percent refund of the price of the item I bought but it was only a few dollars. They tricked me twice until I finally unsubscribed. I have listed several online shops, but thanks to you those all (6 store names) are on your list except one which is ChicRos. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud reading it! Can you guys tell me where is the official online shop that sells clothes similar to Vencano, Noracora, and Zolucky? I’d be very happy if there was someone to tell me about it. Thank you!
Carla
Jane, I once saw a Pop and Mod ad (popandmod.com) on Instagram and ordered 2 items from them because I thought it was safe. But, I haven’t received my order even though they didn’t respond to my email. I won’t order it again!
Sarah
I was looking for reviews for Popandmod and I find this. I’m so glad I read all the comments.
I’m very grateful to you for making this list. It’s great to have this information and it will make people wonder if one should shop this way at all! I also had a bad experience with Floriday and Jullymart, and will never happen again, thank you.
Kristina
Please add JullyMart to your list. They’re fraudulent sellers from China. I once bought 4 blouses on May 19, 2019, and I received the shipment on June 15, 2019. I was very surprised when I saw the poor construction, missing buttons, etc. You can see their reviews online which have too many complaints on those reviews. I’ve contacted them regarding refunds and package returns by registered mail but it turned out I had to pay $39.50 for it.
It was then that I found out that I was buying clothes from China. There should be a disclaimer for all foreign traders taking into account the cost of the return. I’ve been emailing them since 18th June 2019 but they keep saying the package hasn’t been received. If you take a look at their customer reviews, you will find reviews of more than 4 pages of complaints which are the same as mine. So don’t forget to add Jullymart.com to your list.
Samantha
Please add Owlhive and LovelyErica to the list. I found them through a Facebook ad.
Carmen
You can add Wild Rose Boho to this list. I just buy trash from them. I have made so many attempts to get it back but my efforts have no fruit at all.
Nadine
I once ordered items from Wild Rose Boho. They said via email if the item was shipped but I never received the item. I’ve tried about six times to file a complaint through their support email address and via PayPal but no response at all. So, after two weeks, I dare say that you guys should stay away from this company.
Esther
Vellicic also fits perfectly into this list. You have to return the items to China at a high price! Their quality is poor because the size they wear is FAR. I ordered 2 shirts which turned out to be very short, they didn’t even reach my jeans. One of the oversized long-sleeved shirts turned out to be so big and it fell off my shoulder. The extra-large t-shirt turned out to be so small I couldn’t even fit my head in. They wanted to give me a $10 store credit for my $140 orders.
Tammy
Hi! Thank you for posting this valuable information. I suggest two names to add to the list, namely Luxsavin and Vellicic. Thank you very much, Tammy.
Estelle
Vellicic deserves to be added. I once ordered a sweater but instead, I got a thin shirt. I sent photos of what I was supposed to get and what I got via Paypal because I can’t trust anymore they can handle it properly.
Jane
Berrylook is another scam seller. I saw a cute dress and almost ordered it. I read the reviews on the spot about the dress and all of them gave it 5 stars. Luckily I also read the reviews of people on other sites and found a lot of people’s experiences were terrible. Leave Berrylook far away!
Katie
I hope you all be careful with this site mybesthoney.com or mybesthoney.net. This shop is running a scam. I received an item that wasn’t even close to what was ordered. They use very poor quality fabric, and poor stitching and the model doesn’t match the photo. I was fooled because the items pictured on their website are nice. It looks like they used an image of a beautiful designer dress and someone with partial vision and limited tailoring skills had tried to copy it. Accepted polyester makes poorly designed and printed items. They offer partial refunds when a buyer complains, but when they receive the item they never return the money.
Anna
I just received a tunic dress from Hoenyalls.com. I saw a photo of the product like a cotton/linen tunic dress with embroidery. But I only received a sheer polyester tunic with a printed embroidered design. I canceled the rest of my order and will never order from them again. Through this experience, I learned something. I will continue to buy clothes from the store which I usually did until last month. Thank you for this valuable information!
