Grand Rapids has a famous Beer City Ale Trail with stops at more than 40 different distilleries, meaderies, and breweries. The city is also the home of Founders Brewing Company.

Detroit has a similar number of options and craft beer varieties. It’s the home of respected brands like Brew Detroit and Eastern Market Brewing Company. Outside of the major cities, you’ll still find a number of great spots to enjoy some of the top craft beers.
