They are all funny, relatable, and flashy. But the most important question still remains, is Dr. Squatch deodorant actually good or not? Let’s take a deeper look at this brand.

Also, for people who are impatient, here is the breakdown of the whole review. The soap by Dr. Squatch is amazing. I love the shampoo, conditioner, and especially deodorant. Some of my favorite scents are Pine Tar Deodorant, Deep Sea Goatsmilk Soap, Pine Tar Soap, and Cedar Citrus Soap.

What is Dr. Squatch?

Dr. Squatch is a brand of soap and personal care products that was started back in 2013 in San Diego. So this brand isn’t exactly old like many other brands in the same industry. Dr. Squatch focuses entirely on producing soap using natural ingredients. Furthermore, the people behind Dr. Squatch also love to attack “Big Soap,” a term they use to describe big brands. In turn, this makes people who are against big brands to become loyal to Dr. Squatch. Of all the products, Dr. Squatch deodorant has gained the most respect from consumers.

Besides soap, Dr. Squatch is also producing shampoo, beard care, and candles. There is also a new toothpaste product that it is manufacturing. And if you haven’t noticed already, Dr. Squatch’s products are all marketed towards men with their rustic and woodsy aromas and vibes.

I am the kind of person who tends to be a brand loyalist; therefore, I would always like to know the companies I review as much as possible. I want to know everything about the company that I do business with. If there is something I don’t like or like about the company, I will compile everything and create an opinion later.

As mentioned above, I am sure most people know Dr. Squatch from their amazing ad campaigns. That’s what happened to me anyway; they hired the right people like the comedian James Schrader and whoever wrote the commercials for Dr. Squatch. The ads were simply on point and made me interested in their products.

Is Dr. Squatch deodorant good?

Now here is the question that many people are asking. Is Dr. Squatch deodorant good? Is it worth the money? From the packaging alone, I can tell that Dr. Squatch is not afraid to look different from the rest on the market. It also wants people to know that the brand’s products are made with natural ingredients instead of some ultra-toxic chemicals that are commonly used.

Speaking of appearance, Dr. Squatch’s website is also just as cool as its commercials. The website really does a good job at promoting the products and getting people to purchase. That’s how people end up with Dr. Squatch products in the first place.

So, let’s talk about the shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and soap from Dr. Squatch. If you love woodsy smells, the Pine Tar, Gold Moss, and Cedar Citrus for the soaps really smell good. The shampoo’s scent is also amazing. These scents are also available in a package, so you don’t have to pick them one by one if you don’t want to.

One thing that I want to mention is that I didn’t pick the scents that I got. They came in a bundle called the Forest Bundle, which was the best value bundle when I was browsing the website. The bundle came with a soap-saving wooden block that can make your bar of soap last longer. Yes, it is as amazing as it sounds, and it really made me feel happy that I chose the bundle.

The total that I paid was $63.72, and everything was shipped to my door. Yes, that is a lot of money for three bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and deodorant. I could probably get the same products for about $20 a Walmart, but I am sure these products have higher quality.

A little problem

There was a little hiccup. However, the shipping wasn’t as quick as I expected, and I didn’t get the conditioner and shampoo. From the day I ordered to the day the products arrived at my house, I didn’t change my order at all. So while the shipping process was straightforward, the fact that they made a mistake with my order is a bit disappointing.

I got some scent called Fresh Falls, which was apparently a new scent made by Dr. Squatch. So while I hate the fact that I didn’t get what I ordered, I ended up liking this Fresh Falls scent. And hear this, I didn’t know about this until a week later after I received my products. So, in the end, it wasn’t so bad after all; I got my deodorant, and I’m happy again.

The shampoo and conditioner

The thing with the shampoo is that I don’t think it will work for a lot of people. If you think you have great hair and want the best hair care, perhaps, you might want to look at a different brand. The smell doesn’t really stand out, and it only lasts for a few minutes. Although, the ingredients do help a lot, for example, oat protein for strong hair, honey to fortify and protect the hair, and jojoba oil for moisture.

I am the type of person who cares a lot about their hair, so I don’t want to try some low-quality products. Also, as mentioned above, Dr. Squatch messed up my order, so I didn’t get the products I ordered. How do you even mess up a bundle that you designed? Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there.

My issue next is about the Fresh Falls scent, which is supposed to smell like a crisp waterfall in a forest. However, I don’t sense the smell of this shampoo. The shampoo contains honey to fortify and replenish hair, jojoba oil for moisture, and oat protein for strong hair. As for the conditioner, it contains avocado oil to nourish the hair, shea butter for moisture, and menthol to soothe the scalp.

I don’t like the shampoo and conditioner

I’ll just be straightforward here; I don’t like the shampoo and conditioner. These products made my hair feel greasy and heavy, but I don’t have naturally oily hair, so that’s weird. Some people even noticed something weird about hair because it was noticeable.

Besides the negative effects, I got from the shampoo and conditioner, the fact that they cost $16 a bottle made it even worse. I could have bought other cheaper products that would do a better job. In fact, I know other cheaper products that I could recommend over the shampoo and conditioner from Dr. Squatch.

Yes, my hair is kind of long, so maybe that’s a factor. Perhaps, the shampoo and conditioner would work better for shorter hair. Still, I don’t think these products are good, and I am sure I won’t ever use them again after the first time. Overall, 2/10, I will not use these products again.

The Dr. Squatch deodorant

I already mentioned that Dr. Squatch deodorant and other products use all-natural ingredients. And this is what makes the deodorant amazing. If you didn’t know already, the aluminum in most deodorants that clogs your pores so you can’t sweat could cause adverse reactions. It could also damage your shirt. Luckily, you don’t have to worry about that with the deodorant from Dr. Squatch.

The scent is amazing. And You will be able to feel the difference thanks to the safe and natural ingredients. The deodorant uses charcoal for odor protection, probiotics to restore balance, and arrowroot for moisture reduction.

I want to talk about the Birchwood Breeze deodorant and how amazing it smells. The moment I opened the packaging, I was greeted by the amazing smell. Dr. Squatch describes the smell like a crisp birchwood forest, and I completely agree with that. It is a bit weird to describe something using the name of something, but we can just go with that.

Also, the deodorant comes in a white stick that is often found in other brands. This is important for me because deodorants with sticks don’t always work well, and I am sure I’m not the only one who thinks that way. So whenever I ran out of my gel deodorant and had to use a stick, I often get this rash that is uncomfortable and annoying.

However, I have not experienced that problem with this deodorant, which is surprising to me. It makes me feel so comfortable, and I have no fear now when using the stick. Of course, now I can always be less smelly all the time. Overall, 10/10, I really love this deodorant.

It’s awesome

Now I can confidently say that I love this deodorant. Deodorant is always important for me as I don’t like being smelly when meeting people. Dr. Squatch’s deodorant smells amazing and lasts all day. This deodorant of mine would last a long time for sure.

Another important thing I noticed is that my shirts don’t have nasty discolored stains. As you may already know, this is a common problem for people who use deodorants. But since I’m not using a deodorant that uses aluminum, I don’t have stains problem. However, keep in mind that the natural ingredients don’t work as well as an antiperspirant as toxic chemicals that many brands are using.

The soap

The smell, the longevity, and the lather of the soap are simply amazing. I love how unique yet familiar the smell of the soap is. It is really difficult to explain; I think you have to experience it yourself if you want to know. Also, don’t believe people who said you would only get ten washes out of this soap. The soap will really last long, you can use it twice a day, every day, and it will last for about four weeks.

I love the soap

The smell, the lather, the longevity, and the effectiveness of this soap are all amazing. I love this soap so much. This soap can easily clean my body without much problem; furthermore it can also exfoliate some of the dead skin.

Also, I noticed that some reviews said you could only get ten washes out of this bar of soap. But I disagree with that, I used the bar of Pine Tar soap every day, sometimes even twice a day, and it lasted me for more than four weeks. And believe me, I used the soap a lot in each wash.

Keep in mind, however, that the scent didn’t last all day. It’s a bit difficult to tell as you need other people to tell you this. But I don’t think the scent lasted all day for me. Overall, 10/10, I would try this soap again.
