Review
In space no one can here you scream, and scream you will. Great monster lose on the space ship movie. Often imitated, still the best of its kind.

The Disc
I enjoyed the deleted scenes. There is information about where the scenes would have been and why they were deleted. I am tempted to restore them and see how the film works that way.

The commentary is excellent. Ridley Scott is a brillient filmmaker. I hope The Duelists comes out on DVD. It may be already. I'm new to the technology.

I also enjoyed the preproduction artwork, featuring H.R. Giger and several others. Nice to see the genisis of the ships and creature.

Picture Quality: 9/10
The 16:9 enhanced 4-disc Aliens set from Fox is based on brand new transfers, and it looks spectacular. Despite the film's age, there little noise and grain and it's never distracting.

Sound Quality: 9/10
The remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital audio track obviously has much less information on it than the three other films in the series, but the sound is still sharp and clean.

Menu: 10/10
Not as much fun as the menu for "Aliens" but still a very nice job. Easy to navigate. Clear and quick transitions.

Extra Features: 10/10
What more can I say that I haven't said already!

The Final Word:
One of my favorite films. Fans of the series will not be disappointed.
