An Interview with Catherine Hardwicke, Director of Lords of Dogtown.

Capturing the authentic feel of the rise of the Zephyr skate team in "Lords of Dogtown" had to be exciting for Director Catherine Hardwicke whose previous film (her first as a Director), "Thirteen," was an unqualified bullseye. "Dogtown" is a great take on the subject looking gritty and real highlighted by likeable performances displaying the good and the bad parts of the skateboard sensation. In this streaming audio interview, the humble but focused Hardwicke tells EI about working with the real Zephyr team, including writer Stacy Peralta. She clearly had a good time on the set and reveals that Peralta himself (well the shaved and wigged version) did some of the skate stunts because, after all, no one could have done it better than the original himself, right?

"Lords of Dogtown" in original and unrated versions hits the streets September 27, 2005, on both DVD and PSP. For more information visit the Sony website: http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/lordsofdogtown/index.html
