American Red Cross volunteers have been deployed to the hardest hit areas of Katrina’s destruction, supplying hundreds of thousands victims left homeless with critical necessities. By making a financial gift to Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.

"Cronicas" is a terrifically entertaining Latin thriller starring John Leguizamo. An extremely tension filled film about a group of journalists in Ecuador who investigate a series of child murders only to stumble upon an almost lynching following a car accident. Very layered and containing a fantastic performance by Leguizamo "Cronicas" is the most accessible Latin film for mainstream audiences to come out in some time.

Director Sabastian Cordero and John Leguizamo stopped to talk with us prior to the Sundance premiere.

"Inside Deep Throat" revisits the cast and creators of arguably the most successful independent movie ever made. "Deep Throat" was made for less than $25,000.00 and has grossed something like $600 million thus far. Ironically, its star Linda Lovelace made the film for just $1,200.00.

Directors Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato participated in a Q&A at the Queer Lounge to discuss "Inside Deep Throat" and the work of their company World of Wonder. We caught a portion of the discussion on video.

"Twist of Faith" is a documentary about the journey of Tony Comes, a firefighter from Toledo, Ohio, who painfully tells us about the sexual abuse he experienced as a child at the hands of a Catholic priest. The emotions surface for Comes when he is in his mid 30s and seemingly living the American dream with a beautiful wife and two wonderful children. One day after purchasing a new house, to his horror he discovers that the one-time priest who sexually abused him was living just a few doors down from he and his family. In time, Comes will retain a lawyer and become involved with others that have the emotional scars left by his abuser. Emotionally gut wrenching, "Twist of Faith" is another fine film from director Kirby Dick ("Sick: The Life & Death of Bob Flanagan").

At the Gateway center on Main Street in Park City is an events space known as The Queer Lounge. The brainchild of Ellen Huong this space is a good place to hang out whether you're gay, lesbian, or just a human being (although I doubt that pets would be turned away). Owner Ellen Huong told us about the lounge prior to a Q&A to be held there.
